i’ve stopped trash talking comic sans after learning the font is actually one of the only dyslexia-friendly fonts that come standard with most computers and i advocate for others doing the same
In the event that you would like to continue hating Comic Sans, other dyslexia-friendly alternatives include Arial, Verdana, Tahoma, Century Gothic and Trebuchet.
This is important to me. But there are different kinds of comic sans fonts, like comica BD or MD, I forgot, and that font is basically my life. I do all my presentations for University in Comica BD (and yes, people like my presentations).
Also I’m dyslexic.
I’d swim across Lake Michigan
I’d sell my shoes
I’d give my body to be back again
I had my tonsils removed on monday and I’m still unable to speak and under a lot of pain. I’m also out of painkillers, because they didn’t give me enough at the hospital.
Well, I have a few drops of the heavy ones left and I’m going to the hospital tomorrow morning and I will ask them to give me more.
This experience is no fun at all. I haven’t left the house since I came back from the hospital and I don’t feel like it. And all I managed to do were the dished (once) and my laundry (twice, but I absolutely had no other choice, I was running out of panties).
Anyways, if anyone ever tells you it’s no big deal to get your tonsils removed, they are lying. You’re sick for about two weeks and you probably will have to take antibiotics on top of a ton of painkillers.
I mean, I’m glad because I’m feeling much much better today, but this has sucked and it still does.
And no, I don’t get to eat ice cream. In fact, I am forbidden to eat ice cream.
